The Atomic Aquatics Z2 Regulator is a compact and economical system that packs a punch in terms of performance, ergonomics, and materials. Built on the B1\/T1 platform, it boasts the same high-quality breathing performance and patented features as its more expensive counterparts. This balanced flow-thru piston design uses Atomic\u2019s Jet Seat high-flow stainless-steel piston and a self-lubricating high-pressure piston seal system for low friction and low maintenance.<\/p>\n

The Atomic Jet Seat System is also designed to last, with a conical seat and blunt-end piston that won\u2019t damage the seat over time, unlike competitors\u2019 systems. The valve seats are precision-machined from an extremely strong aerospace material, making this design the most reliable in the industry. The Z2 can go 2 years or 300 dives without service, and provides superior diving performance even at low tank pressure.<\/p>\n

This Nitrox-ready regulator can handle mixtures up to 40% out of the box. The first-stage has 2 high-pressure ports and 5 low-pressure ports, and the second-stage is a balanced linear flow design for easy breathing at all depths and conditions. The Zirconium-plated brass demand valve body, titanium lever, and silicone rubber diaphragm ensure durability, and the patented Automatic Flow Control (AFC) diaphragm activated valve automatically controls the flow for optimum breathing resistance at all depths.<\/p>\n

The rapid adjustment knob provides added control for special situations, and the regulator comes with a 32\u2033 low-pressure hose and an owner\u2019s manual. Weighing in at 2.3 lbs., the Atomic Aquatics Z2 Regulator is the perfect combination of performance and affordability.<\/p>\n
